Lompoc City Fire firefighters made fairly quick work of a brush fire that broke out yeaterday morning. The fire was first reported at around 10:45 near the old Valley Drive-In theater on North H Street. Less than an hour later fire officials requested police assistance to take a suspect into custody. A 31-year-old hispanic male was arrested on suspicion of causing the fire. He’s being held on a 75,000 dollars bond. An investigation is ongoing.
