With the Fourth of July just a week away, Safe and sane fireworks stands have been popping up up and down the Central Coast. You’ll have to wait until tomorrow morning to begin buying fireworks that are legal in San Luis Obispo County. Several communities have restricted the use of safe and sane fireworks between certain hours on the Fourth of July. Fireworks of any kind in many unincorporated areas in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties are illegal. Check with your local fire or police department for details.
