Traffic Stop Leads To Ghost Gun

A traffic stop got a ghost gun off the streets. Grover Beach Police say a Santa Maria man was speeding on Grand Avenue Sunday evening. According to yesterday’s press release, During the stop officers discovered one of the passengers was on probation. The searched 20-year-old Benjamin Ybarra and found a loaded ghost gun in his waistband. He was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail. Officials say ghost guns are being recovered at an increasing rate.
