Cal Fire firefighters attacked a vegetation fire in the Carrizo Plain yesterday afternoon. At one point, flames threatened the California Valley Solar Ranch. Cal Fire used three air tankers and five fire engines to stop the forward progress of the fire. Officials say the flames scorched roughly 25 acres. an investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
