Woman Injured During Templeton Parade

A woman was injured yesterday during the Templeton Independence Day parade. Acording to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office, a pony pulling a cart was spooked before it jumped into the crowd on Crocker Street. A 61-year-old woman was seriously injured when she was struck by a piece of the cart. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment. The extent of her injuries and current condition have not been released.
