Arroyo Grande Police arrested a man following a robbery yesterday. At around 5:20 p.m. officers responded to a report of a man who stole a wallet from a woman on East Grand Avenue. The suspect fled on foot but was chased down by a bystander who recovered the wallet and returned it to the woman. Officers caught up with 37-year-old Manny Favela of Santa Maria. He’s been charged with felony robbery. The bystander left the scene before police could get a statement.
