The Santa Maria Police Department says a teenage boy involved in a Fourth of July car crash has passed away. Investigators say Fidel Lopez was a passenger in a vehicle struck at the intersection of Donovan Road and Pepperwood Place while on his way to work. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact the Santa Maria P.D.
