Firefighters on the Central Coast Battled flames on heat over the weekend. Cal Fire crews were called out Friday to a vegetation fire Friday afternoon. The flames threatened one structure and were held to roughly 2 acres. On Saturday, Fire Crews made quick work of a brush fire near Los Altos Road. They had the flames knocked down in about 30 minutes. Another fire was reported just after noon near the San Anselmo exit. Flames scorched about two acres of vegetation. Yesterday in Paso Robles, another vegetation fire was reported near the Links Golf Course. It took firefighters about an hour to douse the flames. Investigations into the causes of these fires are ongoing.
