Fans of Off-roading at the Oceano Dunes received some good news yesterday. San Luis Obispo Superior Court judge Tana Coates ruled yesterday that the California Coastal Commission must vacate its March 2021 decision to effectively shut down off-roading at nearly the entire Oceano Dunes park by 2024. According to the Tribune, The judge said the Coastal Commission should have considered changes to San Luis Obispo County’s local coastal program, which encompasses the park. The Coastal Commission will review the judge’s ruling next month.
