The Pismo Beach City Council has approved funding for a long-awaited new Public Safety Facility. Plans for the facility have been in the works since the 1980s. With a 5-0 vote, the council approved a 42-million-dollar contract with F&H Construction to build the new Police and Fire Department headquarters. The new Public Safety Facility will replace the old Pismo Beach City Hall building that has been vacant since 1995.
