Convicted murderer Paul Flores is headed back to court. He was convicted last October in Monterey County for the death of Kristin Smart in 1996. He’s scheduled to be in court next month to discuss a change of council. According to KSBY, he wants Harold Mesick to represent him in the restitution portion of the case. Mesick represented his father Rubin who was found not guilty of being an accessory to Kristin Smart’s murder. The next hearing would only relate to new counsel being appointed.
