A small plane was forced to make an emergency landing in the Carrizo Plain over the weekend. According to the Tribune, the pilot reported an emergency shortly before landing in Soda Lake at around 2:20 Saturday afternoon. The plane became stuck in the mud of the lakebed. The two people suffered minor injuries. Its still unclear what caused the plane to make the landing.
