The Five Cities Fire Authority will be looking for a new Fire Chief. After decades in the fire fighting community, Chief Steve Lieberman has announced that he’ll be hanging up his “turnouts” and retiring in December. While he’s been Fire Chief, he’s helped the department evolve and become the fire and emergency medical service agency the Five-Cities have come to know. Department officials say a recruitment process will begin shortly.
