An environmental group, suing the state of California to close the Diablo Canyon Power Plant suffered a setback yesterday. Friends of the Earth filed a suit in April, hoping to keep the last nuclear power plant in California from running beyond its 2024/2025 scheduled closure. The judge in the case dismissed the complaint. According to KSBY, Friends of the Earth say the fight to shutter Diablo Canyon is not over.
