Morro Bay residents still recovering from last winter’s storms are getting a bit of a break. Morro Bay City officials have reduced the permit application fees to repair or rebuild by 50 percent. According to the Tribune, the city will also refund up to half of the fees paid by homeowners who have already paid their permit fees. Officials are hopeful that FEMA will cover the cost of waived permit fees. The fee reduction expires at the end of the year.
