A Lompoc man was arrested over the weekend after leading CHP officers slow speed pursuit Saturday night. According to yesterday’s press release, officers spotted 43-year-old Antonio Vega Torres Jr. traveling the southbound in the northbound lanes of the 101 in a large flatbed truck. Near the base of the Cuesta Grade he got in the southbound lanes and continued through the Five Cities area. Torres Jr. then turned the truck around at Laetitia Vineyards in Arroyo Grande and eventually was stopped in Shell Beach, pepper sprayed, tazed, and arrested. The truck was stolen and Torres Jr. was under the influence.
