Santa Maria City officials have begun a search for a new city manager. According to KEYT, the soon to be former city manager, Jason Stillwell announced his retirement last month. His last day is Friday. The City Council named longtime Santa Maria employee Alex Posada as interim city manager. Posada has been with the city since 1978. It could take a few months before officials find a new city manager.
