Cal Fire firefighters kept a vegetation fire from getting out of hand yesterday. According to the Tribune, the fire was first reported on private on Parkhill Road near Santa Margarita at around 1:45 p.m… Crews attacked the flames from the air and on the ground. Some locals also helped out by cutting a fire break with a bulldozer. The flames consumed about a quarter of an acre.
