A second suspect believed to be connected to a rash of car burglaries at popular trailheads in Avila Beach and San Luis Obispo has been arrested. According to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office, 36-year-old Andre Stoner was already in custody for an unrelated offense when he was arrested. Officials allege that Stoner and 28-year-old Joy Thompson burglarized 23 vehicles at the Bob Jones Trailhead in Avila Beach and the Reservoir Canyon Trailhead in San Luis Obispo.
