San Luis Obispo police say they have identified the man who attempted a weekend smash and grab burglary at the Big 5 Sporting Goods store over the weekend. Police responded to a broken glass alarm at around 2 o’clock Saturday morning. They found a 2006 Toyota Prius stuffed through the front doors of the store and seven missing firearms and ammunition. The guns and ammo were later found in a field in back of the store. Now police are looking for 25-year-old Michael Giovanni Benadiba.
