Pismo Beach Police say an unidentified woman was killed yesterday afternoon walking on the train tracks near Frady Lane. According to a Pismo Beach Police Department press release, the pedestrian was walking northbound in the middle of the tracks just after 12:30 when she was struck by an Amtrak train, also traveling northbound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. She’s described as a white female in her late 30s. Her identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
