A Highway 1 resurfacing project will continue this week. A seven mile stretch of the highway that runs through the Five Cities area is getting a face-lift over the next few weeks. The project affects highway 1 from the highway 101 interchange with Mattie Road in Pismo Beach and finishes just south of Valley Road near Gracia Way in Arroyo Grande. The project should not affect commuter traffic. Most of the work will be done Sunday through Thursday during the overnight hours. Caltrans expects this work to take three to four weeks.
