A Santa Maria man spent the weekend in jail. Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Deputies received a call about a suspected DUI driver Friday night. When deputies arrived, they found the driver parked in front of an Orcutt liquor store. They spotted an open container, and the 22-year-old driver repeatedly brandished a knife while trying to flee on foot. Using less-lethal options including a ballistics projectile, and a taser the suspect was taken into custody.
