Cal Poly faculty and coaches could soon go on strike. It would be the first time in more than a decade. According to the Tribune, The California Faculty Association is asking for a 12% annual salary raise for its members and equity adjustments for the lowest-paid members. The California State University management countered with a five percent pay increase for tenured and non-tenured faculty at the CSU’s 23 campuses. Roughly 29,000 CFA union members are voting through Friday on whether or not to strike.
