Vandenberg Space Force Base plans to light up the Halloween night skies. An unarmed Minuteman III missile launch has been on the base’s schedule for years. The launch window will open at 11:47 Tuesday night. The goal is to validate and verify the effectiveness, readiness, and accuracy of the weapon system. As standard procedure, the Russian Government has been notified in advance.
