PG&E and the California Fire Foundation have awarded two Central Coast fire agencies wildfire safety grants. The grants were awarded to the San Luis Obispo and Lompoc Fire Departments. The funding will be used to complete vegetation management projects and purchase personal protective equipment. Officials say the grants will also help bolster their disaster preparedness and response programs.
