Santa Maria Police say a 14-year-old juvenile has been arrested for a shooting that happened last week. An investigation began Thursday afternoon when officers responded to a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a 15-year-old with a gunshot wound. Officials say he’s still in serious condition. The 14-year-old suspect was taken into custody Friday morning. He’s facing assault with a deadly weapon charge and a weapons violation.
