A 15-year-old has been arrested for car theft and a hit-and-run accident. San Luis Obispo Police say, officers answered a report of a hit-and-run on Monterey near Johnson late Tuesday afternoon. The vehicle involved matched the description of a car stolen earlier in the day. Police spotted the stolen vehicle a few blocks from where it was stolen. That’s where the 15-year-old was taken into custody. The passenger is still on the run. Anyone with helpful information about this case is asked to contact the SLO P.D.
