The San Luis Obispo City Council has unanimously voted to ease some of the frustration of parking in the Downtown area. Council members passed a motion that includes a first hour of free parking in all structures and Free parking on Sundays in downtown parking structures. The motion goes into effect on Thanksgiving weekend. City staff members will also look into downtown employee parking programs to ease the parking burden.
