Santa Barbara County Fire officials say a wildfire that was burning in the hills between Lompoc and Gaviota has been fully contained. The Sun Fire broke out last Thursday and scorched roughly 211 acres. Crews from Santa Maria, Lompoc, and Montecito joined the battle. No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
