Hot Spot Reported In Lizzie Fire Burn Scar

San Luis Obispo City Firefighters responded to a report of smoke in the Lizzie Fire burn scar area yesterday. It’s been nearly three weeks since flames scorched 124 acres near San Luis Obispo High School. Fire crews found a smoldering hot spot within a drainage in the Lizzie burn scar. No flames were reported. Firefighters doused the hot spots as a precaution. The Lizzie Fire was fully contained on November 1st. According to the Tribune, a 15-year-old was arrested on suspicion of arson that same day.
