People’s Self-help Housing broke ground on a new affordable housing project in the Santa Ynez Valley yesterday. The Buellton Gardens Apartment complex will be located on McMurray Road. It will be comprised of 89 one, two, and three bedroom units for low-income households. Buellton Gardens will also include a community room, a well-resourced learning center and onsite supportive services for residents. Construction should be completed in two years.
