An Atascadero man was found guilty on several gun and drug-related charges yesterday. A San Luis Obispo County jury found John Allen Webb Jr. guilty of conspiracy to possess fentanyl for sale, possession of fentanyl while armed with a loaded handgun, and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. SLO County Sheriff’s Deputies originally made contact with Webb in June 2023 as he tried to sell half an ounce of fentanyl in Nipomo. Sentencing is scheduled for February.
