Two downtown parking structures are getting facelifts. San Luis Obispo City officials say the Palm Street parking structures will get a thorough cleaning, structural repairs, and visual elements. The first phase of the project is underway at the 842 Palm Street structure. That should be completed in April. Crews will then move to the 919 Palm Street Structure in May. Some locals would like to see better lighting and a few security cameras to make the parking structures safer. The cost of the beautification project is 2 million dollars.
