This morning drivers using Highway 46 East in the Cholame area will experience some road construction. The Highway 46 East widening project will include a traffic switch onto a segment of the newly constructed lanes. The traffic switch will be in place between the Shandon Rest Area to just west of the 46/State Route 41 interchange. The 116-million-dollar widening project should be completed by the end of the year.
