Kristin Smart’s family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Cal Poly. The suit filed yesterday alleges the school could have prevented Kristin’s death if officials had responded properly to reports of Paul Flores exhibiting harassing, stalking, and violent behavior on campus, and botched the initial investigation. According to the Tribune, the suit claims Flores had been reported to Cal Poly at least four times before Smart’s murder.
