A strike at Cal Poly and other Cal State Universities is still set to begin this morning. The California Faculty Association, which represents teachers, coaches, librarians, and counselors, is still set to be on the picket line this morning through Friday. Striking is not required by all faculty members, so some classes may still be scheduled. Meanwhile, a tentative agreement between the union representing plumbers, electricians, and other trades workers at every California State University campus, including Cal Poly averted a strike.
