With an election just around the corner, The League of Women Voters of Santa Maria Valley changed its name. Officials say they changed the name to better reflect the organization’s geographical coverage area. The new name is The League of Women Voters of North Santa Barbara County. They’ll still be working with the communities of Guadalupe, Lompoc, Buellton, and the Santa Ynez Valley.
