A Santa Maria man was arrested earlier this week after allegedly assaulting and robbing two juveniles. Police say the 48-year-old man physically assaulted and robbed the kids of property Tuesday morning just after 8 o’clock. When officers arrived at the home of the suspect, he refused to exit, leading to a standoff that lasted about an hour. He was eventually taken into custody and booked into Santa Maria Jail.
