Arroyo Grande High School Locked Down

Students and staff at Arroyo Grande High School were told to shelter-in-place yesterday morning. The shelter in place was ordered after the Arroyo Grande Police Department received an anonymous threat. Students and staff sheltered in classrooms while officers swept the campus. The lockdown was lifted after police found no threat. Officials are calling it a “Swatting” incident. An investigation is ongoing.
