Frayed Nerves And Damage Behind Fast-Moving Storm

A fast-moving severe weather system rolled through the Central Coast yesterday afternoon. It left behind toppled trees and power lines. Thousands of Central Coast residents were left without power. Most of them were in Grover Beach. The National Weather Service issued a brief tornado, followed by a severe thunderstorm warning. The storm then moved south into Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. The National Weather Service will have a closer look at the damage later today.
