The National Weather Service released its findings on Wednesday’s storm in San Luis Obispo County. The report confirmed that two tornados did touch down on the Central Coast Wednesday. The first happened at 3:41 in the Los Osos area. It had a five-mile-long path near Los Osos Valley Road. The second happened minutes later in Grover Beach with a one-mile-long path. According to KSBY, both packed peak winds of 95 miles an hour. The National Weather Service says these were the strongest tornadoes to occur in San Luis Obispo County since before 1950.
