First responders up and down the Central Coast are preparing for a storm system that is predicted to swing into the area this weekend. The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Sunday through Wednesday. It affects San Luis Obispo County, the coastal valleys and mountains of Santa Barbara County, and parts of Ventura County. Cal Fire officials say now is the time to prepare.
