A former Atascadero State Hospital psychiatric technician will face trial for allegedly abusing his own 13-year-old child. The San Luis Obispo County D.A.’s Office filed charges on November 15th. A judge ruled yesterday that the case would move forward. The judge also approved an order from the California Attorney General’s Office that prevents Alfred Sweet from working as a psychiatric technician. His forma; arraignment is scheduled for February 29th.
