This weekend’s storms brought evacuations, road flooding, and water rescues. Yesterday morning at around 7:30, Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services helped three people out of the rising Salinas River. Firefighters received word from the CHP that someone was stranded on an island in the river. About ten minutes later, another person needed to be rescued. A third person was rescued from the river just before 9 A.M… Officials say all three people were brought to safety uninjured.
