The City of San Luis Obispo will soon be looking for a new City Manager. After serving San Luis Obispo for the last 12 years, Derek Johnson will be headed back to his hometown in Marin County. His last day with San Luis Obispo will be near the end of April. Johnson will then become the first Chief Executive Officer for the County of Marin. The San Luis Obispo City Council will soon be meeting in a closed session to discuss interim appointments and recruitment plans.
