Gas prices across the country have been ticking upward over the past week. The national average this morning according to Triple-A, is 3.27 a gallon. The cheapest gas can be found in Mississippi at 2.85 a gallon. The most expensive is here in California at 4.65 a gallon. In Santa Barbara County, gas is averaging 4.76 a gallon. San Luis Obispo County, the average for regular unleaded is 4.83. According to the Tribune, the Sinclair gas station in Morro Bay has the cheapest gas at 3.85 a gallon.
