Vandenberg Space Force Base is planning to hold an active shooter exercise today. The Announcement of the exercise was made yesterday, but no timetable for the semi-annual event was given. Base officials warn that residents in Lompoc and Santa Maria may notice “giant voice announcements.” Delays of varying lengths are also expected at all Vandenberg Space Force Base entrances.
