About 150 Macy’s stores across the country are scheduled to close in the next couple of years, but one Central Coast location has been spared. According to KSBY, the Macy’s at the Santa Maria Town Center is here to stay. Meanwhile the Macy’s at La Cumbre Plaza in Santa Barbara is on the list of stores that will remain open. Macy’s officials say they are focusing on a return to profitable growth.
