A home burglary suspect is behind bars this morning. The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a report of a burglary on Avila Valley Drive in Avila Beach yesterday afternoon. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. A few hours later, his vehicle was located in Paso Robles and a brief pursuit ensued. He ditched his vehicle behind Target on Theatre Drive. He was found in a nearby fast-food restaurant and taken into custody without incident. An investigation is ongoing.
